How can Physiotherapy help with Golf-Related Injuries?
The initial appointment consists of a thorough assessment followed by diagnosis and the best possible treatment for that type of injury. Registered physiotherapists can treat a wide variety of conditions and golf-related injuries. Various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue massage, electrotherapy and acupuncture can be used, and exercise will be incorporated into an individualized treatment plan.
Mainway Physiotherapy offers specialized assessments and Injury rehabilitation for golfers. They are associated with the FITforeGOLF association of golf injury management and Titleist Performance Institute.
Andrew Hoermann, owner of Mainway Physiotherapy; has his degree in Physiotherapy and CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Andrew is a member of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (C.A.M.T.). He has worked with the National Junior Boys Golf Development Team and for the Ontario Junior Golf Team for six years.
